Wendy Smith Begolka is the Chief Strategy Officer at the National Eczema Association (NEA). Her work focuses on amplifying the patient experience and patient-centered outcomes in research and care and serving as the PI on NEA’s CDC Chronic Disease Education and Awareness and PCORI Engagement grants. She holds a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Mayo Clinic and authored 80+ peer-reviewed publications, including multiple papers on the patient/caregiver eczema lived experience and perspectives on eczema care.
