Generalized Pustular Psoriasis: Through the Eyes of Our Patients
Generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) is uncommonly seen in many dermatology practices but can be one of the most impactful conditions affecting patient quality of life. Join Steven Feldman, MD, Keischa Cash, DNP, APRN and a GPP patient, Dale Reisner, to familiarize yourself with GPP, learn about current strategies to help manage the condition, and develop strategies to help address patients’ most common and significant quality of life issues.
Learning Objectives:
- Review the characteristics that distinguish generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) from other skin conditions
- Recognize cytokine pathways that play a predominant role in the development and progression of GPP
- Evaluate strategies that may improve the clinical management of GPP based on results of recent clinical trial and real-world data
- Select appropriate questions to ask patients diagnosed with GPP to uncover quality of life issues that require immediate attention
