Janus Kinase inhibition is a new therapeutic target in the treatment of cutaneous inflammatory diseases. As with all new treatment modalities, understanding JAK inhibitors presents unique challenges. This presentation will enhance the comprehension and confidence of dermatology nurses in the appropriate use and anticipated effects of Janus Kinase inhibition and will in teaching their patients about the risks and benefits of these new drugs.
